“Hard working and polite. Someone you can TRUST!”

A ceiling fan earns its keep twice in Central Oregon, pushing cool air down in July and pulling warm air off the ceiling in January. We install fans on existing fixture boxes, brace them where the box needs it, and balance the blades so the fan runs quiet.

One-time visits and memberships both start free. See rates.

What's included

Replacing a light fixture with a fan

Swapping an old fan for a new one

Fan-rated brace and box installation where the ceiling needs it

Remote and wall-control setup

Blade balancing so it does not click or wobble

High and vaulted ceilings with the right staging

Hand this list to your handyman. The first hour is on us.

What decides the install

The box in the ceiling

Fans need a fan-rated box, and if the old fixture hung on a light-only box we add the brace that keeps forty spinning pounds where it belongs.

Ceiling height and pitch

Vaulted ceilings, common in Bend, want a downrod sized so the blades clear the slope and the air actually reaches you.

Controls

Pull chains are simple, and remotes or wall controls add wiring and pairing time.

The fan itself

A big-box fan and a designer fan go up differently, and we have assembled plenty of both.

Good to know

My ceiling is vaulted. Can you still hang a fan?

Yes. A sloped-ceiling mount and the right downrod handle most pitches, and we will measure before ordering anything.

Why does my current fan wobble?

Usually unbalanced blades or a worn mount rather than danger, and both are fixable in a visit. A wobble that comes with a creak is worth having us look at sooner.

Fan where there is no fixture at all?

Running a new circuit is electrician territory. If there is an existing switched fixture, we can almost always make it a fan.
